Beck ESPN

Beck's a competitor and a MF'r. He's going to talk his **** and rip out his opponents' throats.

Sure, he looks like Timmy from South Park, but on the field, he's a killer. He's going to go on an absolute tear this season and do so with confidence and arrogance. Cam pointed at the spot we were going to run the ball for a TD; Beck is going to point at the DB he's going to torch all game while talking his **** to opposing DLs.

The University of Georgia had 36 dropped passes in their football games during the 2024 season—more than any other team in the nation.

By my calculations, that’s 126.237 drops per game played.
The also had several key injuries on their OL if I’m not mistaken.

The narrative around Beck is interesting. His stats were very similar to Nussmeier, but the pundits really like Nussmeier. Same conference, similar number of big games, but a totally different perception.
It’s because one transferred to Miami and the other one stayed in SEC.

If Beck had chose to go to Bama you’d hear nothing but “UGAs playcalling and run game let him down”

So, Carson started 27 games and had 20 interceptions,.. 1.35 average per game. The outlier is the 2024 season w/12. Notably with a poor/suspect Ga. Receiving corp. Beck’s a competitor and has that junk yard dog attitude. He’s going to try and fit the ball into tight spots and make plays. Comes down to talent, repetitions, confidence and muscle memory. As good as We think Beck is, that will grow as the season progresses. That SEC BS is just that sour grape Horses**t F**k the SEC. And .. oh Yeah F**k ND GoCanes🙌🏽

The king of the hill (Georgia) was starting to show signs of weakness, and now they’re butthurt that Beck made a business decision and parted ways for a better school to showcase his talents

I’m here for his revenge tour

This is the only correct answer.

Beck is going to do work here. The OL and run game are going to do a lot of the heavy lifting vs ND, but he’s going to get opportunities to make plays. Toney and Lofton should eat this weekend.

Could’ve titled the article “What the opposing coaches are saying about Cam Ward heading into 2024” and it would’ve been the same story
It was true in both cases. Cam drastically improved his carelessness with fumbling (or Miamis OL helped there)… and that specifically only bit us in the *** 2min game winning drive against GTech when he fumbled it. He did still show his absolute wtf are you doing cross field int problem. But other than those like 4-5 plays, he was truly excellent. Down by down he was pretty **** careful/secure with the ball.

Beck has to do similar. I’m not particularly worried about fumbling with Beck. But anyone who isn’t concerned about Becks performance when pressured is absolutely lying to themselves and/or others. Ward under pressure may have had turnovers but it was usually genuinely because he was trying to turn dog**** into gold (and has done so a lot). Beck it seems it more of a panicked typical poor decision. Like Ward will make the total wtf are you doing cross body throw, but Beck will just throw normal interceptions which in a way is actually worse imo…

What about 2023 when he had a running game? Where his OL protected him? He threw 6 in 14 games. Cam threw 7 in 13 last year.

Beck became so “overrated” that he is now severely underrated. The truth lies in the middle, he’s not a 1:1 pick, but he **** sure is better than what most people think. Chances are he’s the highest QB (besides Cam) UM has drafted in past 25 years.

One plays for LSU and the other plays for Miami, was dating a Cavinder twin, drives a Lambo, etc.

Cam Ward was labeled a turnover machine with small hands before he went out and became the 1st overall pick.
It was obvious to see though with Cam. When he was rumored to be in the portal I said top three pick in the draft with a good team. Would have been a star even if he went the year before and was a fifth rounder. The reason Cam was throwing picks was because his weapons did not have the level of seperation that they had at UM. And his OL would be better and can go rhythm. Beck doesn’t have that excuse, it’s the complete opposite. He arguably had the best roster his first year and then some left and his numbers went down. But all in all he is playing in the SEC and like it or not they have the best top heavy teams.

So people doubting Beck isn’t hating imo, they are concerned and it’s fair imo that is. And people jumping on the super vibe that he is super good, could be setting themselves up. If you have that thought process you know who gets the blame if he plays ******? The HC and OC, because most went into the season thinking Beck is Cam type.
