Beck ain’t it, whiffed on Mendoza

The way our offense runs, we should have taken Mendoza. He can hit the same stuff we're asking Beck to hit. We run a ton of screens and short stuff anyway, so who cares what Mendoza's limitations were. We'd be cooking with him right now. Ferny wouldn't be throwing the ducks into triple coverage like that or make some of the boneheaded throws Beck has made and would have come cheaper. He'd be busting his *** for us and we'd be humming.

Thought Beck's arm would come around, but the fact and the evidence tell me it has not. Last night was a brutal performance.

Hope Miami just needed to get this one out of their system, but same ol 'Canes.

Bro I’ve been on Miami message boards for 21 years, kinda long to be a troll don’t you think. I’m a lurker and a shlt poster. I got kicked off canesport for saying Gary Sperman looked like a stage 3 hemorrhoid that got its wish and became a real boy.

I don’t think Beck has a problem reading defenses, his pre snap recognition can be better, but usually his int are pretty simple. He’s off platform, under pressure and tries to make an elite throw and it ends up in accurate. Elite QBs, makes those throws, he can not.

Mendoza is Cuban, from Mario’s HS alma mater, and his dad played ball with Mario.

Plentyyyyyyyyy people didn’t want Mendoza but in a Mario offense all you need is a Mendoza. You don’t need a game changing put the team on his back type. He’s not going to get that chance in Mario offense anyway.
