Beck’s 2nd INT Yesterday

Think UF is broken and we are about to put the final nail in Napier’s coffin.

That was absolutely the case. The second interception wasn’t on Beck. The first one was but the second wasn’t.
The first one wasn't really his fault either. He was hit right as he threw it, causing an underthrow. He had an open receiver behind the defender but the hit took some velocity off the pass

Johnson was open and might have scored. That safety is flat-footed.
I think on the video replay you can see the safety flying by, I don't think he was flat footed. Might have been a catch, but I think he would have taken a hit.

It looked to me like the defenders were jumping 10. We’ll never know, but in the moment it looked like the S misjudged it.

In his post game presser last night, of course the big doofus Sperman asked Beck about his int’s. Beck said, I figured someone would ask about them in a sarcastic way. LMAO. He said the first one he was just trying to push the ball down the field to try and score before the half and probably shouldn’t have thrown it.

The second one he was aiming at Johnson and didn’t realize Toney had a 50” vertical. LOL. No mention of whether or not there was a route run incorrectly.

Yeah the first one I respect it he was going for a kill shot before the half. His accuracy is crazy so there’s nothing to worry about

Tony Johnson was open, that could have been a big play. I hate that it was a pick, but it’s good coach tape.

Yeah, Beck even alluded to needing to be more accurate himself but also his WR needing to space better.

Im just laughing at the absolutely insane vertical Toney showed off to even let him touch that pass

Paraphrasing, but in the post-game presser, Beck said something like "I didn't realize Toney could jump 6 feet in the air". He was definitely throwing to Johnson.

Hah, you beat me to it. I didn't see this post before I posted my reply. Beck's response was classic.

That was going to be an INT or Johnson was going to get killed by the safety if Toney didnt tip it. The safety was in position.

He verified during his press conference interview that it was intended for #17, not for Malachi. He joked that he didn’t know that Toney had a 50-inch vert.

On the first interception he was hit as he threw it by a blitzing DB. He acknowledged that he should probably not have thrown that ball. But none of the picks were terrible.
