Beard has to be the guy for WR coach

The thing is that no one knows what the original plan is... Its all speculation.

Just like Raymond. We were going after him but his camp says they have never even been contacted by Miami.

Now everyone is freaking that Richt failed... says who? Not Richt, Not Raymond...

Also everyone assumes he wanted Aranda as his first choice but the only thing Richt has stated early on was that he wanted to get back to the Miami days of running the 4-3. Which precludes Aranda.

The point is no one knows. Take it with a grain of salt because no one knows and in the end it doesnt even matter.

Accurate. If J. Richt is a full coach, we're only making 1 more hire. Which means J. Richt will either be coaching WRs or TEs.

Really hoping he's a GA, and we can add 2 more guys with experience ...

We are going to have both. I've never seen a WR/TE coach.. 2 totally different positions. I think Jon is a quality control type coach not counting towards the 9

I was told coley and beard wouldn't be back , that was two weeks ago. My guy was adamant Beard wouldn't be back , unless it's an ops position.

He's rarely wrong but things change. We've obviously missed on a couple guys so that could've changed things

I texted him earlier and his actual statement was " I'm not buying it, maybe it's his old ops position"

He is very close with Richt and he is unemployed.

If it's a situation of "either I'm miserable or you're miserable," I agree, that changes the playing field entirely. Wife might be willing to cave if otherwise means misery for Lilly.
 
According to Barry Jackson, Richt offered the WR job to Larry Scott first. Obviously he didn't take it.

If not beard im sure he could get another well respected coach, maybe from the NFL.. A lot of good coach's got the boot yesterday
