Beamer Bush League

How is that bush? He had the opportunity to get something productive done under game settings while finishing up getting blown out. I think most coaches would have done the same thing.

I thought he was classy going for the TD instead of the easy FG to avoid the shutout. He gave us a real shot at preserving the shutout.
 
Va Tech definitely has seen better days. Program has gone stale . . . but Beamer signed an extension in August that keeps him there thru 2018 season. Doubt there'll be any plug pulling after the season.

Golden can help him. If Golden sticks around, VT will probably win the coastal next year.
 
Why has the idea that scoring late in games is classless taken hold with some in this fan base? I don't care if we're down 50 and the opposing team scores another TD or we are up 50 and we score another TD. Thats the ******* game.

Remember that time when we were losing to Georgia tech and Coker kicked the onside kick and we won the game. You don't? Me either. I think his explanation for kicking off was we didn't practice the onside kick. Smh.


Side note we have had te dumbest coaches ever. Long walks, too many night games, didn't practice onside kicks. U can't make this ish up

Been times when I've felt we should go for it as well. OK if he's getting in some scrubs - course this year's scrub could be next year's hero or next game's critical sub....unless of course he's injured in garbage time. No I haven't been hiding been away for a week and had actual work to catch up on. What was left? 1.24 or something like that, and to a near empty stadium. Foolish. Nothing to do with being a "gentleman" everything to do with playing the percentages.

Picture this (if you actually work for a living), lose the bid on a major project - do you call the client an asshat? Good luck on getting the next project or even a chance to propose. You gain nothing and can lose everything.
