BE PREPARED, IF

If we win the final two games, be prepared for Manny being given another year to turn things around. OK, it may sound crazy, but considering that if we had scored a total of only 11 more combined points in the NC, VA and FSU games, we would have only two losses, both to top ten teams, and considering that a new AD coming in very well might not want to hit the ground running right off the bat with a totally new HC and most likely totally new assistant coaches, those in power may decide to give Manny another year. Might even approach Manny with a Let’s Make a Deal proposal of giving him another year in exchange for Manny agreeing to substantially lower is payout price if he is terminated. Stranger things have happened.
Your point is not nearly as outrageous as some on here would have you believe. My only counter argument is that I believe if we hire an AD our some repute, the AD will want to make a splash hire to start their tenure.
But your point makes a lot of financial sense, if not emotional sense.

Diaz SR going to have a full press PR war to keep Diaz JR in a HC job. He won’t get hired anywhere else as HC much like our last HC (golden/ Shannon) richt doesn’t count he is done on his own accord

We shouldn't be in a position to say we are only 11 combined points away from only having 2 losses. We should have trounced those three teams.

To be honest I didn't know about the 3 second rule ( when the ball was grounded), but the fact the FSU coaching staff knew about the rule, and our group didn't says all we need to know about Manny.

Never underestimate how uncommitted Miami is to winning.

8-5 with Miami's second bowl win in 15 seasons is more than enough for these "key BoT members" who still have his back.

Not happening. Last three games have zero impact on his status. Manny will not be around.

It would be a fine pitch for Manny to make if he had a legit opportunity to save his job, which he does not..
