Your theory will destroy two recruiting classes. You realize this, right? Just look at the ***** show of a class coming in for 2022. Will be worse next year. Besides, no AD worth his/her salt ties their future with a HC that is currently failing. That's right, Manolo Diaz has failed. There's no spin, if this or that. It's about winning. All that matters and Diaz has not been able to do it.

The OP is in denial at just how bad the teams we lost to are.

I think a new AD keeps Diaz if Miami beats FSU. And then dumps him half way through next season when the wheels fell completely off. BUT, slap **** Diaz did us all a favor

It's over for him. If not for a top notch QB coming in to save a few games, we are 2-8. 1-9 if we miss the kick against AppState. Throw in the recruiting class and we have what we have now. A program that SHOULD be improving with a decent OC and top rate QB, to one that can't beat an FSU team that lost to Hobo State Junior College for the Mentally Challenged.

Before FSU I said we'd have to win out for him to keep his job. It had to be every remaining game. Why? Because it's hard to fake your way to 7 straight wins down the stretch. It's easier to start 7-0 than to finish 7-0. Just ask Al Golden. You can get lucky for 2 or 3 straight, but not 7. Not down the stretch. You don't play every game as a coin toss, and that is EXACTLY what this team does, and that is exactly why Manny couldn't win out and should have been fired already.
 
I was listening to the cover 3 pod and they all don’t know anything but think manure gets another year. God that would suck

You miss the point about a new athletic director and how that individual will want to bring in their own guy?

The minute Blake was gone, Diaz was gone. He will be out either the evening of the Duke game or first thing the morning of the 28th. Happy Thanksgiving, Turkey Diaz.

No way the new AD wants to connect himself to this loser. We should have at most 2 L’s and it’s his side of the ball that is ****ting the bed. We look like the same team from 19. We are in dogfights with everyone we play when in reality the majority of these games we should be winning by two scores or more.

Consider if the Japanese had caught the USN Pacific Fleet's Aircraft Carriers at Pearl Harbor that Sunday. But, they didn't, and that gave them only one loss.
