He's better than Zay Horton

Do you think he's going to be a downfield threat against better competition or is he gonna be screen/contested catch possession receiver?

I think it's the key question for rest of the year on offense, especially if Trader doesn't get healthy/productive quick.

I honestly have no idea whether he can stretch the field against better comp or not. He did it at Liberty but that was Liberty, and he was hurt at LSU.
He stretched the field against one of the best secondaries last week when he scores his TD.

I think he will be a better version of Horton and George.

Toney is a more athletic Restrepo.

Toney and Daniels are potentially better than our top 4 WRs last year

His catch radius, tracking and hands appear to be such that if he’s 1 on 1 he’s a threat vs any db. Deep ball or otherwise

Only thing I keep harping on with Toney is the slot in this offense is a lot. Restrepos S&C was on another planet. Toney’s talent is crazy just hoping such a young kid can hold up over the course of a long season

But I agree with you

With Johnson and Ray Ray (possibly Lofton too), I can see Mario and Dawson look for ways to preserve Toney during the season. But, I agree with you especially with the kid being just 17
