I have heard lot of the fanbase. I am just as frustrated by what seems to be a team that is never ready to play and makes every loser team look like Alabama.

If this team loses to BC here's what may happen.
CMR will lose the locker room.
He will lose recruits.
That one loss could turn into a season long slide.
Because of his stubbornness he'll set back the UM football program another 3 years.

He's going to change things dramatically over the next week and have them fired up at kickoff.
Then my alarm clock goes off.

It's OK. Randy Shannon already ruined the program, you just don't know it yet...

There is no doubt this is a must win. I don't see it happening. But, good coaches always find a way to win.

The Hurricane fan base consists of millions of people.
How many is "lot of"?

Narrator: BC turned out to be nothing remotely close to a "make or break" game for anyone or anything.

Nothing brings posters out of mothballs like a desultory loss.

We’re going to hear these dramatic “this is the biggest game in the history of the program” declarations for the rest of the season.

In the big picture, Rick already got the gas face last week. Until he fixes the offense, a victory or a loss here or there is fairly meaningless. I want to win the Coastal to keep recruiting on track, but if we play anywhere like we did last week we stand about a 5% chance of doing that.

Arguably the tipping point was in year two or three of Shannon. Yes, Larry Coker ruined it, but not beyond repair.
We'll have to agree to disagree my friend. IMO Clappy put the program back decades by firing championship-caliber UM staff members to save his own a$$ and allowing the cupboard to run historically dry recruitingwise (especially on offense).

Randy clearly wasn't the answer but only a select few in the nation were qualified to clean up Elmer the Fudd's mess.

I mean, from 2007-2009, we only had 7 OL on the roster. Whose fault was that, Randy or Fudd's? And remember when this guy was our STARTING RT under Randy? Who do you think recruited him in 2005??

And don't even get me started on the "upset" Clappy pulled against UNLV on the blue turf. That, to me, was as low as we could get until Randy wet the bed against UVA 48-0 at the OB farewell game with, you guessed it, Clappy's recruits.

Randy never had a chance (but I agree he never should have been hired). We are still trying to get out of the mess Clappy got us into. Here we are once again losing to the UVAs of the world. SMDH. I need a drink! LOL #EndRant GO CANES!
