Rhule?? Don't we have enough experience with former Temple head coaches who crap the bed when they get a P5 job?
 
Leave Mario where he's at. He's a meh hire. Didn't light the world on fire at FIU as he was 27-47.

Wouldn't be excited by this hire at all. 8-4 with Herbert, who actually regressed under Mario during a down year for the PAC 12

Another Temple corch huh? One that was hired on by and corched for Golden.

This program can't afford another bad hire. We don't need an up and comer that's going to take a couple of years to build something and get his name out there.

We need to go after a big name and someone from a winning culture. IMO Venables is a no-brainer. He's passionate, knows how to coach a defense, and knows what it takes to win. We saw glimpses of this when Richt came in. Pushing for the IPF to be built and increasing the staff salaries. Unfortunately he hired his son at QB coach and couldn't develop players.

Guy has done some good things with absolute **** to work with. I wouldn’t be upset with it.
 
Yeah, no more Temple coaches. On the other hand, we did pretty well hiring from Washington State and Oklahoma State.....
 
No, we already hired one bum that came from Temple. He's done solid at Baylor this year but needs to do way more work.
 
I'm not a die hard BBB guy, but he's a better choice than anyone on that list.
