Exactly. These South Florida guys are odd to say the least.

Not to mention, they already forgot how Urb did Torrance Gibson. Meanwhile, we got an alum Choad Wilson boiling Rick’s pet bunny because a previous coach he had no connection too didn’t offer his son early enough.

If the kid is on SFE, then you know who he is getting his info from. Bruce was an SFE kid I believe, so yeah. They just did the spin job that Urb didn’t accept his commitment.

Let's see if a commitment comes out publicly soon. Wouldn't be surprised if Urban gave him the "commit now or no guarantee" speech - especially after all the positive hype for UM after last weekend. If he did commit, we shall see if he comes to Paradise....

Really? Look at the DB draft the past several years. Not hard to understand what they're selling in methland. It's certainly not the sprawling metropolis of Columbus.

2) the optics send a clear message. We are protecting our territory and will do it against the big boys. We did this well last cycle, gotta continue it.
 
I'm caught up to what's been going on with him lately. But anybody know the backstory on his recruitment, prior to his recent interest? Did we have other guys higher than him before spring evals? Has he always been a top of the board priority like this? Was he just such a heavy osu lean, for so long that, that we didn't feel like there was a realistic chance? Was there already some kind of connection to them, long before 2018?
I'm not looking for someone to blame for not prioritizing him sooner. Just wondering why they were on him early, while we din't really appear to be, until recently.

Would be nice to get a Battle commit soon because Stevenson's recruitment is going down to the wire. These kinda safeties don't grow on trees and haven't really heard of any other targets. We gotta get one of em.
