Makes sense if you think about it. Word is a bunch of these kids have also signed their FAs, and yet BC hasnt sent out the bat signal for all of those....... We can bag on Golden for Donofrio, but when it comes to recruiting, this guy runs this sh*t like Erich Von Manstein, guy is a MASTER strategist and tactician. Golden is paying some Bobby Fisher style chess right now.

GENTLEMEN: Just a public service announcement for those who are new to this, and those who never seem to learn and get burned by this sh*t every year...... in situations like these, 99% of these "insiders" with "great sources" are full of sh*t.

Every year there is at least one, if not more situations like this, where there are "insiders" who "heard" from a great "source" X, Y, or Z. It is WORTHLESS. Its ok to be cautiously optimistic, but always expect the worst, while hoping for the best. EVEN IF, a kid committed to the coaches, that means NOTHING. Every year kids commit to coaches, and then turn around and commit to other schools too, and almost every year, some kid screws us, and that happens to almost every program. It is what it is. Until Cook PUBLICALLY says he's committed, done, shut it down, and has sent in his LOI, do NOT buy into any "Cook is a Hurricane" B.S. The kid has waited this long to make his final choice, has set a time for when he will announce, he is STILL officially committed to UF, and still has in homes with Jimbo and probably Muschimp.

Yes, we have SOME momentum right now, but we have NO real idea what is going on behind the scenes, and how much of this is real, or just the kid maybe placating family and friends by giving us some serious consideration. Hope for the best, expect the worst. Dont let some "insiders" and their "rock solid" info suck you in. Its just going to be a set up for heartache, it almost always is. Better to be pleasantly surprised than to be heartbroken if this doesnt go our way.

These know/don't know recruiting threads are , by far, the most entertaining entertainment on CIS.
 
I posted it not saying it was legit but its something he's "reporting" just like on 247 or scout, it can be bull**** or maaaaaaaaaaybe it'd be something to look at but I still trust Tito and Pete way more then that *****
 
These so called insiders hit or miss when something like this dalvin cook recruitment is going on , example this puma guy if he is by some miracle right he becomes "reliable " so he's taking his chances taking a guess he either becomes somewhat reliable in people's eyes or he's just what he is now just another fake insider

All I know is this thread proves how big of an absolute **** show this site is going to be REGARDLESS of what team Cook ends up with. I'm not sure I can handle this level of troll and let down if he doesn't come. I don't know if this site can take it either lol

Well seeing as 90% of people who follow recruiting closely and are on many of these different boards, have never heard of this "insider" I would say that the odds of people vouching for his great info are pretty slim.

Any d*ckhead with an iphone or droid can go on twitter and say whatever they want. I can go on and call me self Chad Comepinga on twitter and go troll and tweet out to a bunch of Gators that Cook said he is definitely going to Gainesville, and I heard it from a "rock solid source".

NO ONE, except Cook, and maybe his family know what he is going to do. And here's the REAL kicker, Im not sure that Cook himself knows what he is going to do, so all this "rock solid source" stuff is worthless. EVEN IF, he did commit to the coaches, he could have committed to Jimbo too, and is still publically committed to UF. And WAS committed to Clemson before. So until he signs his LOI, or shuts down recruiting, its all a game of wait and see.

Buddy is this your first year following recruiting? Every site is a f*cking circus when these things break like this Cook stuff did today. Did you miss the Kirkland/ICE Harris fiasco last year? The Alex Collins circus? This happens every year, sometimes several times a year.
