I just doubt Highsmith would have taken the job if he felt he had no power. He doesn’t strike me as a dude that would settle to be a lame duck

Everyone is disappointed, and only Mario decides what changes there will be. Admin solidly aligned and supportive. Goal and expectations are still to win big, also large focus on the portal.

Wasn’t that part of his contract going in? That he would have complete control over changes, what should be done etc. No surprise there.
