That means, he’s in over his head with this job. Saban knew something.

If Enos was performing like this at Bama they would have already strung him up.

Enos is who he is. Even if he allows for more shotgun and quicker passes it just isn't him...It just isn't his offense.

idc if it isnt his offense. i care that he picks an offense that puts our players in positions to be successful

Yes, but if it isn't his then how well will he run it?

He is a decent play caller when he is running his offense with a big OL and good running game. He will continually set you up for big plays and mismatches with the TEs.

But he has little to no experience running anything else. He is just not the same play caller once he moves away from the play action.

Running PA on 3rd and 10 is not fooling anyone. But I found the following interesting:

"There’s already plenty of evidence out there proving there’s no relationship between running success and play-action pass success … "
Also
"That running more play-action passes gives the running game a slight boost."

Excerpted from nfl-establish-the-run-play-action-pass-stats

That does seem a bit counter intuitive to me.

I know it does. Just posting it for comment and discussion.

Just theoretical but if you just look at top balanced offenses that have efficient pass and run games I wonder if the numbers change in anyway?

If you are factoring cr@p offenses into the statistics maybe it skews things a bit. They are less likely to be successful on PA anyways. Just a thought.
