Barry J. article summary on "behind the scenes" problems.

This was a ******* hit piece by Barry jackson and already picking up national headlines. Hate Miami reporters. They will drag the program through the mud at any cost. ******* leeches

This is obviously leaked by someone in the football department to shift blame from the Coaches to the players. This could end backfiring to the Coaches.

Agree. But we’re not winning like them, or have the rest of the boat intact. We’ve been losing like a colostomy bag coming apart at the seams. Making it public is good for future hopeful recruits too. Mostly, it’s good for those who care about the program, to know that there’s accountability. We knew about the immaturity and air headed dumbness amongst our QBs, and we consistently blamed the lack of adults in the room. Now we know, that not only was there a lack of adults in tneroom, but that their hands were tied as to what they could do about some of the problems.

Colostomy bags have seams?

Sounds to me like Richt knew exactly who the problem children were. Manny and staff should have never have asked JT to come back and should have just let Williams transfer.
The players hold the coaches by the balls cause the coaches ain't even sure if they can win without them. That is bad leadership all around and it's no excuse for the kids. It's toxic and a **** show run by incompetent men from top to bottom.

LULZ. Apparently counting isn’t a strong suit?

Not a single Gaytor fan I know thought they had a QB worth anything after their 4 win SEASON. Then Mullen arrived. Our coaches suck *** cheeks for breakfast.
Well, I didn't have anything clever to say about Matocha. That tends to happen when a player gets zero reps, attention, and has no off field issues.

Manny Diaz is the biggest fraud I have ever seen, and it's not close.

Yup

They know how to get the fans to attack something else. They been doing this to the fans for years....some of us used to fall for hashtags and new coach hirings. Not anymore (well some of us)

Alot of the fan base is fooled tbh

During the eighties pretty much our entire team was doing blow and smoking weed. Good teams. Great teams. Saw it with my Own eyes
And see my post about Jankovich boasting in '86 about the drug testing program.

I remember when Willie Smith an undersized but All-American TE on the '85 team decided to declare early for the draft. Going early was relatively rare back then. Johnson tried to blackmail Willie into not leaving by saying, "Remember the little problem you had here." Rumor was that Willie failed a drug test and that it would come out if Willie went to the draft. As it turned out, Willie declared, and went undrafted.

Never to be heard from again.

I will say this as someone who played college football and was in a lockeroom that suffered these same issues.
It is very hard to break these habits. I watched my former team make that change. And it started with a coaching change and the new classes not succumbing to it.
The guys there now and don’t partake, it’s very hard to hold other people accountable when it’s a part of 50 percent of the locker. A lot of these guys are kids and gonna do as they please.
*silver lining* I wouldn’t look ya this as a end all be all. It’s a very fixable thing, takes time. And it goes on at a majority of programs. The ones were it is really held in check have been playing meaningful games these past couple weekends.

The simple fact of the matter is that the QB room needs a new guy to come in and be a threat. They'll continue to see it as a joke until reality hits them that they'll be watching from the bench and never see the NFL.

Jarren Wiilliams needs to move on. It's likely the only way he'll ever have a chance to become a worthwhile player.

Perry stands a chance, but he's got to seriously focus. That means watching a lot more film, something he doesn't like.

Martell needs to put the distractions aside and focus like he used to. He stands a better chance than Perry if he can get his head straight and pit in time. If not, he still stands a shot at slot receiver, but he needs to put football first.

Matocha has had a year to learn bad habits. Hopefully they didn't take.

TVD could still use a learning year. It's hard to walk into a group of people older than you and become the leader. He could really use a grad transfer to lead the way..
