Changes do need to be made but he wont look in the mirror and realize he needs to be gone for it too change.....he knows he lost the fans and is trying to do all he can to stay in power because thats how these ego maniacs are.

And the sad part is that Prickt thinks he's showing these so called "me" players that he and Thomas Brown tried to vilify through Barry Jackson.
His a$$ lost the team tryin to be Mr. Coach.

I don't want to make the same mistake we made before.

Miami fans in 2005 - "Anybody is better than Larry Coker. Literally anybody else can win a 'ship here. Miami made Howard, Jimmy, Dennis, and Butch, not the other way around." UM eats a huge buyout and hires Randy Shannon on the cheap.

Miami Fans in 2011 - "Anybody is better than Randy Shannon. We just need a coach with head-coaching experience." UM hires Al Golden.

Miami Fans in 2015 - "Anybody is better than Al Golden. We just need a coach who has won at a major D1 school." UM hires Mark Richt

Miami Fans in 2018 - "Anybody is better than Mark Richt. We just need an innovator who isn't stubborn." ...........


If we fire Richt tomorrow, then we're right back to where we were in 2005.... eating a huge buyout, and probably looking to hire Manny Diaz, the modern Randy Shannon.

If we're serious about hiring a new coach, it needs to be somebody who ticks multiple boxes, not just someone who seems to fit whatever the current mood is. Be proactive, not reactionary. Don't solve yesterday's problems, solve tomorrow's problems.

Is there a flex seal type oc out there ?

The team quit, teams don’t quit that respect the coach. Just confirming Richt has lost the team. Once a team is lost, it’s gone. It will take 4 years and a bunch of transfers and wins to get it back on track. That is only true if you fix this train wreck of an offense and continue dominating on defense.
Only reasonable fix is fire everyone and start over.
 
He will make whatever the minimal amount of changes that are required to keep his job. He will then continue to win 9-10 games a season and occasionally win the Coastal. The BOT and Administration think this is enough. It’s why they hired him in the first place. Fvck that we want to play for natty’s not meaningless division titles. This will just prolonged the mediocrity. Firing his *** is the only acceptable action.

I have to agree with this! This team quit as a whole and it was obvious to anyone who watches even a little bit of football that from the very first snap this team had quit with the defense leaving open gauging holes to the wisky running game and then the offense lack of effort and Rosie being Rosie
