It has been known Pete Carroll lobbied for his son to get the job at UM years ago, and he has always been fond of the UM program... i knw a few years back he was at a few practices so im not surprised Barrow went there... good hire... he probably will stay in NFL for a very long time

His Mom was ill last year and Barrow legitimately took time off. Would he have left otherwise? No, he wouldn't have. And I'd say we would be at the same place. A LB coach moving on.
