It is a different time and he is a different candidate now. Now he has head coaching experience.
That banner was appropriate for the time it was flown. I don't regret the fact at that time I was among the ones who didn't like the idea of hiring him.

Yeah I don't remember the circumstances of flying that banner and I never supported it. You are right though there is nothing to gain from doing something like that.

This fan base is embarrassing. Just a few years ago y’all were flying “say no to Mario” banners and now you have us begging.

Surely the same special snowflakes who flew banners to fire Butch in 1997 or so and also fiew "Bring back Butch" banners a few years ago. They were literally wrong in two different directions about the same guy twice.

Simply a bunch of stupid people who didn't get enough attention from their mothers when they were little.
