Banners Against Prospective Undesirable Hires

Time to revisit this now that Alfredo banners are no longer needed and Cristobal's name is mentioned in EVERY discussion about who will be hired?
 
Why revisit the worst idea ever. Focus on getting Golden out only. That would kill all negativity. This is an example of doing too much.

No, the worst idea ever is allowing people to think that hiring Luigi would be popular with and desired by this fanbase.

This. And there actually is a small but vocal (and dumb) segment of our fanbase who is clamoring for Mario. We can't let them get in the ear of whomever is making the next hiring decision. Let it be known that hiring Mario would be almost as bad as keeping Golden.

The only people that want Mario are dumb fans. We could have hired him when we got Golden but he wasn't even considered. Why would he be considered now?

I'm with Vern and Tad. ***** what anyone thinks. Worrying about that is what got us here. The press no longer talks about our banner. Now it is about our air force out there flying, planes warming up and stuff like that. Forget Al and start working toward new hire. Let BOT know that firing Al DOES NOT end this. We will stay on their asses until they give us WINNING back.

I like the positive banners (for the guys we want). Not a big fan of the negative banners. Things like "No Mario, No Way" can cross a line and rub people the wrong way more easily.

We won't hire Mario, but I can see us getting Chud and Mario being on his staff and groomed to take over one day
