Bandy’s Future

Does Darrell Green ring a bell? Not saying Bandy is the next coming of the "greatest" cornerback to play the game, but they are they same size, so Bandy has just as much chance to make and succeed in the NFL. JMHO

Ok. Let’s not bother with the fact he was the fastest human being on the planet for decades.

Bandy may not be the fastest human being on the planet, but he is fast and has a shot at playing in the NFL with his talents, even at 5'9".
 
He'll get a shot based on what he can do in the 40. He runs slow, he'll never get a shot. He runs decent, late in the draft, possibly UDFA. He runs better than what any of us think, round 4 or 5 at best. The NFL is about numbers and there are very few exceptions to that.
 
Man, it would be great to keep him for four years. Imagine what he’ll be like in 2020.

Bandy has excellent recovery speed. That's his biggest asset. He can close the gap on a seemingly open receiver as well as anybody. Problem for him is that I don't think there's a test that can quantify that metric. He'll go to a team that puts in the film study on him before he gets drafted on his measurables.
 
Who gives a f@ck about his NFL potential. He has at least 2 years here. If he balks here that's all I care about. I've never seen a board so full of projection.
