Banda

Good read, great story. It's Miami and he needs to be judged by results not good impressions. We have unbelievable history at safety. If he can get any player to remind us of ours greats, then the guy is gold and headed to NFL. Mark was reached on some of his coaches, let's hope he has hit some home runs.

Awesome story . . . he has his work cut out for him for sure! Not a lot of fruit back there now.

Cmr has definitely reached on some coaches....but if you know the history of M Tomlin, head coach for the steelers, then you never know.

Old news. Sick of this bartender story already. They act like the dude overcame pancreatic cancer and swine flu. He worked as a fcking bartender. So did lots of guys. Who gives a ****?

What's so cool about it? You must be starved to death for something compelling if that crap sucked you in.

He was a crappy HS player who played at a crappy college and tended bar. He was friends with a strength coach who went to Texas and campaigned for him to get a GA gig there. What's so fcking compelling about that? I'm sure Tom Rinaldi is salivating at the chance to pitch this to the Gameday crew.

I honestly believe CMR thought Banda could be a rockstar on the recruiting trail and that's primarily why he brought him on. It really couldn't be Banda's coaching resume. For example, Clint Hurrt didn't star in college football or make it to the NFL, but he became a recruiting monster for Miami and Louisville. Banda could have that same pedigree and from what Pete has been told, he's on the verge.

Little known fact- if you squeeze the liquid from the bar rag into a shot glass at the end of a double shift slinging Mudslides to recent divorcees at a suburban Chili's, the contents of said liquid will actually cure pancreatic cancer AND swine flu. We lost Steve Jobs and Swayze too soon.

Lots of *****ing in this place about how much the media hates us, yet we get one about how one of our coaches took an odd road to get where he is and we **** all over the story and the guy.

Nice.
