Banda on the sidelines during games

is this thread , OP ect serious?

When I created this thread, I hoped it would be about Banda and the entertainment value he brought to the table by his sideline demeanor. I had noticed Banda on the sideline throughout the course of the games and it would often make me chuckle. I hoped canes fans saw the same thing and felt the same way so we could share in some of those moments. The thread went in its own direction after that.

I have to say I like that Banda and defensive coaches are so animated on the sidelines even if it gives me a chuckle from time to time. I think you need passion and energy to play the aggressive style of defense that Manny has installed. The players feed off the energy and passion of their coaches. I think Manny did well to bring in a young, energetic, passionate coach such as Banda to help implement his style.

Moreover, I think the defensive coaches compliment Richt's stoic sideline demeanor. The defensive coaches are the yang to richt's ying.

If there's one thing that made me doubt bringing in Richt, was that attitude on the sideline, like he was too mellow to get kids motivated, especially for the big games. With the defensive coaches like Diaz and Banda, I'm not sure it really matters. Richt is different since he was fired anyway. He seems a lot more intense than he did at Georgia.

100% agree. Having those guys on the staff allows Richt to be his cool self and project ultra confidence without risk of the players letting own their guard. Night and day difference with the previous staff.
