I think Bama will put a premium on the run game today. Keeping UF's offense on the bench will be their best defensive play. Stopping Najee Harris will be key for UF on 2nd and 3rd down. I don't see UF's Cbs being able to stop Devontae, so Grantham can only hope to slow him down. If UF can keep Bama to less than 30 points I think they'll win but I honestly just don't see that happening.
florida is gonna get shoved around on defense, last year was an aberration for them. It was completely against the norm of them to have that, they just crumble to physical teams. It's in their DNA unfortunately, TENN used to shove them around when fulmer was in business even though spurrier had them humming with much better recruits.
Yea our DL has been solid but Bama has the CLEAR advantage there. Slaton has made some money this year and has been veeery solid and consistent, as has Campbell, but they can be erased at times. Cox thinka every play is a pass play and runs himself out of playa more times than I can count, and Carter is solid but hasn't taken that next LEAP we thought this season would bring. The other issue is depth at DT. We have none. Gervon, as we all knew, is still raw and Marlon Dunlap is JAG.
Man our secondary play...yikes. I'm not saying they are all world, but they are hampered by Grantham continuous dedication to giving the WR a free release off the line and a 10 yard cushion. It's infuriating
