Why do you guys always assume everything is a better job than Miami?

DC under Mark Richt @ UM is a top job, period. You'll be hard-pressed to find 5 better.

And before the Al'bama slurpers chime in, name one opportunity that would exist for a Tide DC that wouldn't for one that excelled at UM. You can't. Our defense got the most coverage of any in CFB this season.

True. We walk around with self-inflicted PTSD, ducking at the slightest noise from anywhere, even if it is the toaster ejecting toast. Our hysteria when stood up for a date is unmatched too.

Been stated but . . . Saban is pure 3-4 defense. He just hires someone to run his defense. You would never see a Saban team run 4-3. So, if Diaz wants to run Saban's defense good luck.

Good point. Golden is the ideal DC for Satan. Diaz is not, unless Satan, seeing the death of his way with the return of The U, wants to convert to our 4-3 attack defense.
