That is what should be done for the bowl game. But absolutely should not be the choices going into 2021. I get that he wants to keep Banda close as a security blanket. Easy fix. Tell Patke to take a f#cking hike and move Banda to ST coach, then let the new DC pick his own staff.

If you watched the FSU v UNC, UNC literally played a 1h of football as bad as we looked today. Then they came roaring back and almost won.

If I'm not mistaken, after Clemson crushed Al Golden 58-0, Flake James initially said no decision was going to be made in the near term, but some influential people put the screws to him and forced his hand. Hopefully there is that pressure now.

Disagree. It’s a move they can make immediately since Diaz can call the defense. Last year Enos was the only playcaller so we had no choice but to wait until after the bowl (although I think me and anyone else could’ve had a better performance than Enos that game.)

He'll be fired after the defense gets embarassed again in the bowl game. Manny needs to clean house and fire the entire defense like he did with Richt's offensive corches.

Manny will never fire his friends. Especially knowing how he was fired for giving up 550 yards to BYU... he won’t fire Baker for giving up 560 yards to UNC.

This is exactly correct.
Look, I’m not supporting Manny with this view point, or denigrating him, but
he saw the obvious problem with Enos and made the change shortly after the season ended and he will do the same with Baker.
Manny can only make the decision pre-bowl game if he either expects to take over the defense himself for the bowl game or has someone else on staff he can serve as an interim. If Manny expects to remove most or all of the defensive staff then he has no one sufficiently competent to take over as DC for the bowl game. Manny could take over the defense before the bowl game but likely won’t because if the defense plays poorly he needs a fall guy and Baker has already proven to be that.
 
Dabo got blown out 70-30 and he made the changes. If manny doesn’t he can go as well. FIRE BAKER HIRE MUSHCAMP OR TROB
