From a purely selfish perspective, for both him and me as a fan, I wish he had a few more notches on his stat line.

He’s such a dominant player, you’ve probably seen some media outlets hyping him as one of the best players in the country and even arguing he should be in the Heisman race. I agree.

It’s insane how close he is to having a bunch more sacks, ALWAYS just missing by inches. I noticed his frustration last night, he knows he’s thisclose all day.

Like if he had housed that ND interception and had a few more sacks, he might actually be in the Heisman race.

This is just a ***** and giggles thread, love the guy and he’s incredible. But you know he really is so close to being on posters in everybody’s room.

surprisingly, but the media doesn’t seem to care much about his stat line and the talking head consensus is the tape don’t lie

Guy impacts almost every play and I don’t see anyone suggesting otherwise due to his stat line

There were times last night where he was getting chipped by one guy and doubled by two others. That alone impacts plays

Bain has a 90+ PFF grade in every game this season.

They take off a point per penalty. He had 2 penalties and STILL finished with a 90.1 grade.

He leads the nation in pass rush grade and run defense grade.

If his 96.2 overall grade holds up he would be PFF's highest graded edge rusher EVER.

Yep and that’s why the preseason hype was so important

Media digs their heels in over players

People that have already been singing his praises will look at a 4 tackle 0 sack 0 TFL stat line differently than if he was under the radar and needing to prove how dominant it was

Good news on the way Cane Brotha

RBJ will likely pad his stats the second half of this season based on who we're playing:

Louisville
Stanford
SMU
Syracuse
NC State
VA Tech
Pitt

If the Canes stay healthy and focused, there are some serious *** whoopings on the way

Well, Heather Dinich said as much on a national sportscast. She said her pick for Heisman was Bain, also Miami was No1# in CFB. She’s also a Heisman voter. This was before we played FSU. How Bout Dat?

bain had ELEVEN pressures last night. outrageous. definitely wish a couple of those turned into sacks, but we've played a fairly mobile slate of QBs so far. miller moss might be the least-mobile we'll have played, so bain should get some opportunities there.

Here’s the best part, homemade in the 305. Kid is the epitome of a Cane. Jerry Jones, you got picks coming, listen to 47…don’t blow this one.
