My issue is who’s next like this? UGA bama used to load up on these. And this was a local…….there won’t be another local like this so it will be more difficult. Maybe this Tank kid cause they are putting the full court press on him.

Go national and get the best of the best. If there’s another local Bain type, then great. But if not, grab the DEs that Bama, UGA and OSU go after.

We need more elite talent that can take over a game.

Those days are over. Too expensive for any program to load up on big time DL these days. And no big time DL is giving UGA or Bama any discount because of the sticker on their helmet like in years past. The talent will be evenly distributed. We will get ours. Until then, Blount, Lowe, Lightfoot and Bryant will fill in just nicely next year.

I mean those guys are few and far in between but they seemed VERY high on Lowe who shot up to 5* status and was in line to get clear reps this year and with the DL we have seen so far the fact he was earning reps was impressive to me.

Lowe is a Bain type for sure maybe not super strong as Bain but quicker. Already has the body type out of HS pause.

His brother Reggie Bain, is a a graduate assistant at Miami.

His uncle, Tolbert Bain, was a four-year starting DB at Miami in the 1980s. Won a national title with the Hurricanes in 1987.

Is he the best legacy player we've ever had at UM?

this is his first cousin as well.

he has a son thats a 2028 wr at mnw that may be a prospect.

I got called a major homer when I said he could be the first defensive player taken in the draft this year if he shows out this year, at my fantasy football draft the day we played ND.

Hopefully him going T5, dare I say #1 depending on how the order falls could be huge for our recruiting.
 
watched Heather Dinich this a.m. on “ Unsportsmanlike “, and she not only said she has Miami as No#1 with the top D in the Nation, but that Rueben Bain as the top Heisman candidate. She is a Heisman voter also. Took me and the whole show by surprise. She always seemed to be an SEC slurper like Paul Finebaum with a Tw*t. She’s quite enamored with the Canes, at least for now.

Hey, I didn’t make this S**t up, just passing it along. Good props for Bain and UM nationally. Show host even gave Coach Taylor props. Good for recruiting.

That’s JT’s job. Develope Lowe into that guy. Blount or the kid from Alabama that everyone raved about his motor are other guys that can be that guy in their own way.
