We better find the receipts because no one has owned up to doubting Bain. A few admitted to doubting Mesidor. Around 10% of the true number.

Never doubted either. Their play wasn't great when they were injured, but whose is?

I will admit to doubting Bell last year. He just didn't look to have the foot quickness/agility you want in a OT. His progression has been amazing.

5th year senior who started for 3 years at Ole Miss. He's a legit player.

Bain is gonna take his soul, but buddy is still playing well this year.

This is the difference between FSU last year and this year. Last year, they had noooooooobody playing at a level like Pettus is. And not that he's great, but he's playing well, he's holding his own, he's not getting abused every snap. Last year, the line was legit cheese.

This is by far the biggest challenge the defense has faced to date.

I agree. That’s why I mentioned it. Pettus and their center are good players. Our boys need to get push up the middle and let Bain and mesidor get to work.
 
Aint a single tackle outside of Utah and Bama in America who Bain isn’t gonna make look like a rag doll, and even then… they might get the business too. No one’s fault, they dealing with the all time Dade County sack leader. This kid been destined to be a top 5 pick for a long time. Just glad Mario got him to stay home. If it was Manny he would be at Bama right now.

If that’s not First Team All American tape, then I don’t know what is.

My favorite player of the Mario era hands down. I remember watching his tape from Central and being blown away. Only reason he wasn’t a 5 star is because he’s not +6’4”.

When Mario signed this kid in 2023, I knew our program was on the way back because DE schools like OSU would have landed him in the past - only for us to watch his success and ponder what could have been had he put on a Canes uniform.

Really blessed to have this kid and that’s not an understatement.

I didn’t believe in Mezzi, Bain I thought everyone had fair criticism due to the fact for the passed twenty years, we had guys do well year one and then disappear after weight gains etc.

But he proved it was injury and scheme

Facts

This dude 1000% would have went to bama. Saban did everything in his power. If Manny or any other HC were here this dude is in an Alabama jersey.
