Bain, Flagg, and the D

In past years, Wes and Flagg both crash the same gap and Clemson's QB walks in for a TD. The improved play of previously maligned guys shows where our fundamentals were, and are now. TeCory Couch is another example. Anyone remember him standing around confused by FSU's 4th down dagger concept TD in '21? Man, he's playing so much better. On pace for career highs in everything this year.

Go back and watch the second series of the game. Same exact disguise on the read option play. 31 is on the edge and crashes down. 51 pops out and becomes the edge. Klubnik never saw it coming because once he saw 31 crash he thought he had wide open space. Brilliant play design by Guidry.

before the play, MARIO called a timeout and the defense discussed the possibility that that play would be called. they prepared for THAT EXACT PLAY UPON CALLING A TIMEOUT. i assume that 31's and 11's responsibilities were discussed

If you watched the UM coaches on that play b4 the snap they were literally calling it out. Great recognition. CU ran that play earlier this szn and 2 walked in

JHH had his man stood up with Cam also in the gap. Maybe Ship gets past both but we will never know.

LOL at 59 looking back to make sure there were no penalties as the entire team was running on field. Even they know the BS that goes down with the refs.
I was suprised they didn't call a horsecollar on Flagg's jersey pull. Thought that was coming back.

Agree with everything you said. However that wasn't a fake. Agree the game Dabo said that was a handoff all the way and he had no idea why the QB pulled it
