Bad high school Stats = Bad QB

Kid had 0 chance to succeed. Not one vertical route the entire 1st half, UVA DBs sat on the short routes and gave very small windows that he would need perfect throws to complete them. The oline still cant block, giving him 0 time to even look for someone to get open.

TVD had his first real start. It wasn't pretty but it wasn't all on him. The first half, our Oline was horrible and we had zero run game. The second half, the Oline played better, we had some success running the ball and TVD looked alot better. He made some questionable reads during the game, BUT IT WAS HIS FIRST REAL START!!! Mechanically, he's fine......you can critique most of the P5 QBs mechanics. His motion is a bit long and loopy but......there's alot worse out there. The UVA qb looked awkward throwing.....

It's a bit of adjustment for a kid to come from Suffield Academy in CT playing against all white boys (even at the skill positions) every week to playing at a P5 school! I mean, TVD looked like a dual threat in HS against that competition.....

I think TVD will be fine. I think Jake Garcia is better always have thought that.....but half of the guys that are criticizing TVD weren't happy when Garcia committed, lol....

Rule #1: if you don’t play like a junior at Alabama, no matter how ****** the surroundings, you are a bust.
 
**** was ugly early but as soon as the chips were down late he was great. Promising second half performance, I was actually pretty surprised because I thought he was going to be the next Pickowski.

TVD's stats in high school were strong. he was a 4 star kid, and recruited as such.

I know one of his coaches, and saw him play 3 times in high school.

I'd tell you to think before you post, but that would require functioning gray matter.
