Bad high school Stats = Bad QB

I don't like his throwing motion or his deep ball, but he was fine tonight for his first start.

He lofts it way too much in deep throws, that's for sure. He's got a strong arm though.

Negatives:

—Doesn’t have a good throwing motion. Wide, slow release.

—Looked slow, robotic and ineffective the first half.

Positives:

—Gained confidence in the second half after hitting some big throws down the field.

—Had me scratching my head wondering what I just watched on that long TD run.

—Put his team in position to win the game.

In the 2nd half TVD did show me he has balls. However, he's just too slow in the pocket.

I actually don’t mind TVD. He seemed a bit nervous, and O line, play calling and drops did him no favors. Obviously I’d prefer if king were starting. Kinda want to see what Garcia has against an actual P5 team.

If you watch clips of practice, this seems to be the way they are taught. I don't know why but most throws by all of the qb's are like that in practice. Floaters

Your "vibes" are just feelings, and yours are hurt. His body language was one of a dude that kept fighting and never looked flustered or defeated.

Not bashing but he didn't play well at all. He sacked himself multiple times. Went off his initial read maybe 2-3 times all game long.

Not a very good performance against a really bad defense.
