Backup Quarterback

I think Tate Forcier is gonna have something to say about the competition before its all said and done.

I distinctly remember Sherrifs being a 3* "golden reach", so it's pretty amusing to see people saying he'll be the #2 .

Yup, but I wasn't one of them. Kid had a good tape. Not afraid to move out of the pocket, great accuracy, AMAZINGF PA pass ability for a high schooler. Now, I'm not saying he'll be the next great one here, but the kid is a student of the game. We won titles with QBs that didn't have cannons for arms, and Shirreffs can be that type of QB. He won't amaze you with a 50 yard lazer beam, but he can get the ball to players in stride. A guy that makes great decisions and gets the ball to guys in stride is more important than a guy with a cannon that makes slow, bad decisions.

Not gonna give up Malik just yet. He's actually played meaningful minutes and he's a bright kid with a lot of raw talent.

I agree about not needing the biggest arm. It's great to have all the tools, but a good decision maker can do a ton with less than ideal tools.

Who is going to be the backup QB?

Is a miracle that Kaaya only missed one game last year.

Rosier played admirably against Duke but didn't rise to the occasion this spring.

Did Shirreffs really separate himself as some have claimed?

Considering Kaaya is draft eligibile, should Allison get some snaps in 2016?

Who's going to win the Super Bowl next year? What will be the odds in Vegas?

Didn't Pete say he wouldn't be surprised if Malik transferred? Just not seeing him as our QB.
