Awesome game given situation...now comes a real trap at UNC (Belichick/Petrino)

They have played against above average defenses too according to this metric too (unsure how much of this is ND vs the rest of their sched)

We have the #1, #22, and #24 defenses coming up. Clemson, Pitt, and UVA are all top 50 defenses. That'll be 6 defenses we face in the top 50 for the year.

With SMU/Louisville last year you knew they had good schemes and good skill players so there was a reason for worry… I just don’t see that with UNC.

But she’s not bad for that old curmudgeon.
But we all know money talks. And he has a bag.
I’m 70 and I would not be able to keep up with that chick.
She seems like a ***** to me as well.
It would be fun. Maybe?
It wouldn't be fun. I would prefer peace.

Refs and our defense against anybody with a pulse is what scares me. Their TE Thurman will feast on these LBs. I think Belichick will have a better game plan that whatever the **** Narduzzi and his defense were doing. Closer than it should be but I don’t expect our coaches to outcoach them. We’ll probably have 10+ penalties. Talent wise, it’s obviously not even close but we know how that goes.
Unless Brady coming in the bail out Bellyache, we gonna stomp them.

A lot of it will come down to UNC’s QB. I do not believe he will be able to play well for four quarters. He will make mistakes and will turnover the ball.
If we can take advantage of those mistakes and we play our brand of football we should win comfortably.
Any if Bellyache is so smart how'd he manage to get so little out of Lopez last year?

The trap game talk is interesting. For me, Cristobal's team has more issues with bye week games versus trap games. Last year did we have a trap game situation? Perhaps the VT game was a trap game because they lost their coach and Pitt was up next. But I am not sure that about that.
If you listen to enough guys every week is a trap week. Then when we win they hide.

They were also just functionally better teams. Both SMU and UL finished with 9 wins last year even with UL losing their starting QB.

UNC is more your garden variety .500ish ACC team that plays coin flip-py games.
