they bring pressure... 1st, 2nd, 3rd down.. they bring it.. while we're much more passive... They have an inside Line backer cover the deep middle of the field, that's bound to cause confusion, especially when you bring added pressure.

That said, I think you can afford to be aggressive on defense against a crappy passer - and that's what Gardener is.
 
Mark Dantonio is a really good coach. I think his name will be mentioned for the Texas and USC job, but if Spurier retires I think USCe may try and get him.

One defense dictates to the offense. One is dictated to by the offense. We have a passive philosophy. Back in the it worked because teams used traditonal offenses that were predictable. Towards Parcells latter years he was a average coach with Dallas. Thats the philosophy Golden.....Groh and Dno has. Wait for shhhh to happen.
