IDK man... JW is playing pretty good at safety... it is a good problem to have but I like him back there now. Maybe he can do it at LB but we are talking about him learning an entirely new position and one he likely does not want to play. We need a MLB transfer badly. then rotate the 3 of them at S and have all 3 on the field in obvious passing downs where the MLB is not really needed.

I would love to see some 3 safety packages. If they are going to send JW on blitzes anyways, I don’t see how it is any different on the back end. The 3 of those guys together could cover a lot of space.

Really like the idea of the defense next season with those 3, LT, Chase Smith, Keontra, Roberts, Chantz, Harvey, and hopefully JHH..really hope all those guys stay. Could be on to something. Need some portal corners though

Honestly, I'd stick him at linebacker for the rest of the season. Put him back at safety next year, presumably when we have some capable portal or JUCO guys added.

That will be a decision for the new head coach to make. Hopefully it will be a high profile hire with a proven track record of winning. If that happens, it won't take long to win and win big. The team is loaded with talent. Just gotta get this next coaching hire right and it's on!!
