Most of the time they're not stealing from black kids. That woman whose lazy spoiled daughter went to USC was not fraudulently presented as a football, basketball or women's track participant. Most likely it was water polo or crew or some elite crap like that. It's stuff where rich white people compete, very few blacks. Do you know anything different? Probably stealing the spot from other whites.

Who cares? The people on the other side, especially the Clintons, are just as crooked, just in somewhat different ways. Ins ome ways, apparently worse, by selling access to the State Department for donations to the Clinton Foundation. I'm a registered Democrat, by the way, but this is not the same party I joined many many years ago.

I'm just looking at the things Trump is doing now. I think he's doing some good things, but many here will disagree, so I don't want to get into an argument. I just think HRC was not any better. She really was crooked and committed a lot of crimes, especially with that server. I do know some of the law in the area and she was let off the hook.

Let's get back to the primary topic and not politics. I just think what's breaking now with the payoffs to coaches for admission could eventually shift towards the money we often claim is paid to recruits. If it does happen, and this payment system is shut down, it will affect a lot of black kids and especially kids who are not rich.

With all the sports money coming into the colleges they probably should pay them a decent stipend besides the scholarship, room and board.

Great post. I agree with you 100% I wish people would stop bringing up politics on this board. But when I see someone bashing Trump with lies I'm going to stick up for him every single time. If it's the truth I have no problem with it. I never start with the politics I just chime in when someone else does. I agree this is not your democratic party from even 15 years ago. At this point I'd love to see them again, they were very close to Trump on many issues like Immigration. I think both sides are corrupt as ****, but I do like what Trump is doing in general. Trump isn't doing everything right but he's trying real hard, the deep state on both sides are against him.

I'm with you pay the kids, there are a lot of risks doing what they do, we get all the benefits as fans. I would like to see the cheating teams like Bama and Georgia brought down to earth so the rest of us can catch up.

It's likely they won't. Remember the following: Asians are OVERREPRESENTED in regards to the student body at Harvard. Harvard or any other selective school can point out that they don't just merely take the highest scores, and then establish a cutoff point. University admissions, especially at a place like Harvard, where they have oodles of qualified applicants, has a lot of gray area. Never mind the fact that it's apparent to anyone with two working eyes that the Asian petitioners lack the guts to go after the people that are really taking their spots: Legacy and Development Admits. Those two categories are overwhelmingly white, but nary a word spoken about that. This is a backdoor way to go after affirmative action, because in the eyes of the petitioners and their backers, it's not the rich dunderhead getting in that is the problem, it's the latinos and blacks that don't belong.

The ironic part is that it's incredibly rare for Harvard to admit an unqualified minority, because they don't have to. The best in the nation, regardless of race applies to Harvard.

I’m trial attorney. Two plus two is whatever I need it to be. Black kids made my storyline sings better. Besides, isn’t it racist to think blacks don’t play polo? The entire education system is corrupt beyond repair. Needs serious flushing out. I’m hoping for RICO siesure of all those big endowments, these schools were not victims.

Bingo...ditto with the Fisher vs Texas case.

Funny thing about the Fisher case is they neglected to mention that white applicants less qualified than Her were accepted, and black applicants more qualified than Her were denied.

The Asians are nothing more than mascots for the racist right vs Harvard.

General thoughts and questions I have:

1). Are any school administrators getting arrested? Any government employees at all getting arrested?

2). Why is this a crime when done at a private university?

3). IF I felt like typing it all out, I could make a fairly strong argument that the federal government's guaranteeing of student loans is at the core of this issue. (For reference, I paid $575 for my final semester at Fresno State in the Spring of 1991. And that was after a huge rate hike over previous years).
