Seems like more and more big time programs are doing this.
I think the "GM" would be safe even if Harsin is fired this season. The GM will probably play an integral role in the hiring of a new HC for Auburn. Not sure why anybody would take a job at Auburn right now unless your contract is fully guaranteed and/or you're deemed "protected" by the real powers at that school no matter what happens to Harsin and their current AD.
Hilarious that the national media ran with some narrative that we were a ****show because we were being mean to Manny and we didn't hire an AD immediately after interviewing some schlub from New Mexico when THAT school is/was an absolute dumpster fire surrounded by a clusterf*ck. But SEC slurpers gonna slurp....
I'd assume so too but this guy doesn't exactly have the cache of Zo in general or in relation to Auburn either. So I also wouldn't be surprised IF they replace Harsin with a "name" coach that the dude wouldn't have issues with any holdovers in thar role.I think the "GM" would be safe even if Harsin is fired this season. And 247 immediately bumped his ranking up to "Super Bowl Champion GM" 10* because he joined the SEC.One of the first SEC teams to do this was actually Vanderbilt. Their hire was a 247 guy, but the position was hired about 3 years ago.
STOP TAGGING GABY! He had nothing to do with Zo being downgraded! And 247 immediately bumped his ranking up to "Super Bowl Champion GM" 10* because he joined the SEC.
247 now considers Highsmith "some hack guy who barely knows anything about football and was Miami's only realistic option".
247 just calls balls and strikes like they see'em.
CIS also said NIL would kill Miami. LolI thought CIS said it wouldn't work. How would Zo work with the AD....blah, blah, blah
Miami still is a trend setter I see
