Attendance This Week

Both of the fau and famu games we played last year was packed. Probably will be the same especially for the opener

Smh. you guys never learn. We have this argument every year. And every year I win running away. We are playing an HBCU!!! With a solid alumni base! Not as big as FAMU but ****..big enough..they will put 10k in the stands. We will bring about 45-50k..So I suspect about 60k tops granted there is no rain. Mark it down.

Even when the Canes were a legitimate Top 5 team, the passe' OB never was sold out for NON-marquee opponents. hUh.

60k is far from a sellout! Unless I am missing how many people SLS holds..Thought it was about 78-80k?!

Again..last year at the FAMU game we had about 58k. And there was ZERO buzz going into the season besides Richt being the new HC.

This year we are ranked..new QB...Elite D...Second year with Richt which is always the "leap year" for new coaches...No reason for 55-60k to not show up. And its an early game..plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the labor day weekend.

According to Google: 65,326

325. Smokey couldn't find a date, so he took his seat home.

I'll be driving from central Fl with 3. Plus some more I know up here are probably cleared to attend too

I stand corrected then. 55k then. Definitely wont be 60k. And I concur with the poster that none of this should matter. If you call yourself a Cane fan and live within 2 hours of the stadium you got no excuse not to be there.

Lotta people will be traveling to the keys and whatnot with the long weekend.

I'd expect somewhere around 50k +/- 4K.

I would go higher but the opponent is godawful.

Any "fan" that doesn't attend is nothing more than a bandwaggonner. No excuse not to go if you live within a driveable radius.

But chise is right though, some of you guys are so shook about what rival fans say about our attendance, you actually sweat whatever the number might be. My advice: don't give a fūck and just make sure you show up.

What was that attendance record that Wrestlemania set at the Pontiac Silverdome in the 80's? Well I'm predicting that figure +1 for Saturday. We back.

Now that the canopy provides some shade there's no reason not to attend a noon game.

It's up to you whether you want to tailgate in a parking lot when it's 90 degrees outside, but the stadium itself is protected from the elements.

I will be there but if there were no canopy, not sure I'd go to a noon game in early Sept.

I love the canopy, although I do remember it getting a bit stuffy under there last year at the FAU game. Wonder if they've done anything to improve air circulation

That has to be something they needed to fix. That canopy wasnt worth **** last year. Not only the FAU game but we might as well have played that FSU game at high noon as hot as it was in that stadium that night.

I'm driving from Alaska because I'm the biggest fan. I hope rival fans make note of how dedicated I am so that I can be vindicated in their eyes.

Yes, they've fixed the stuffiness and heat issue. There's a big ole' hole at the top of the structure to let air in. They also recommend for you to bring one of these:
