Attendance Numbers

Why hasn’t anybody thought of this?

Could we fill in Lake Osceola and put it there?

If we just play in a 45-50k stadium we'll be fine. A crowd of 35k or less won't look as bad as it does in the Hard Rock stadium

This proves the point Miami is an event city. They don’t want to see us play bad teams. Ever.
everyone who lives here has said the same thing over and over. people think a new building will change it lol. it wont.

Aye; so I’ve been watching all these facilities YT shows. Came across ours from 3 yrs ago, and it was sad what the equipment manager said. He said, in essence every game Miami plays is a road game.

That was low key sobering to hear from a staff member’s mouth.

it'll still be a. road game if we were near campus lol. students would have one easier time to party and head back to the dorms/apts to continue partying. we also dont have a lot of them

I think the point was the travel distance; that’s what he stated. I mean if we’re speaking technicalities, USC is playing a “road game” being their stadium is not on campus. I just found it interesting that a staff member voiced that in regards to equipment, set up, etc.

Thoughts on attendance numbers this year?

Mine?

Bethune--50K--Blowout
So. Miss--55K--Blowout
ATM--We win!
Rest of the season--Sell Outs!

Agree?
We're lucky to fill half the stadium, for whatever reasons our fan base doesn't show up to the games unless we're ranked and it's a major opponent in primetime

I don’t think the smaller stadium **** works.

At a smaller stadium, the school will just jack up the prices for most tickets, and you will have the same % of the stadium filled.

**** product but students don’t show up for whatever reason, and the upper deck is empty because it’s probably priced horribly, I can’t really figure it out. We have to press reset and start giving out tickets with whoppers at burger king like the 80s. I think the local community forgot about us.

Maybe it's because I'm old and have heard Noles and Gators in this part of FL mock and wisecrack Miami's facility and attendance "issues" for the longest.

Honestly, though, what's the sense in comparing two flagship state schools with more than 30k undergrads each in traditional Southern college towns to a private university with 12k undergrads in a major internationally-flavored metropolitan area?

At this point, UM's attendance and stadium circumstances are way down the list of things to spend time worrying about

3 years ago UM played ND at Hard Rock and it hardly sounded like a road game.
