We don't get weekly sellouts, even when we are by far the best team in the country. You will see people show up for the bigger games(FSU/Pitt) and not give a **** about the also ran opponents. It doesn't matter who is coaching.

pitt wont be packed. FSU obviously will be even when we suck. people will eventually learn that the city will never show up regularly. its a big event town and will always be.

What you're saying is absolutely true... BUT...

The fans around the stadium proximity was much smaller in the early 80's. And 80,000 seats is a tall order to fill compared to 65,000 given all the things to do in South Florida.

The fans got spoiled by all of the success. Ho hum

We've had very little faith for the past ~18 years.

If we start rolling now, the facts of stadium location and size is better, we're all STARVING for a return to greatness, we can get our faith restored, etc... means we might actually have worthy attendance.

Of course...

I guess the closest thing I have close to me is a Fresh Market. I wish I could find a good neighborhood butcher tho.

Maybe 20 yrs ago, until we start winning on a consistent basis, I SAY a big **** NO. REALITY. On top of that it affects recruiting.
