I am curious to learn what everyone's take is on the attendance at our next game, which turns out to be homecoming against UNC. I would normally expect putrid numbers much like there was against Cincy (noonish game during a less-than-stellar season), and I am normally behind fans "voting with their attendance" (or lack thereof) to show disdain for the state of the program. The wildcard for me, though, is Jim Kelly and him being honored at halftime. To rob a Bill Simmons term, he's a "Pantheon" guy for our program and someone that should be praised for his accomplishments on and off the field. In other words, I'm proud that my school can claim this man as an ambassador.

I would certainly hate for someone of his stature to be honored at an empty stadium. I want coaching changes as bad as anyone, but can we put that aside for one game and give the man his due?

What do y'all see happening? I'm truly curious.

I have my two season tickets and just called and got my two free coaching tickets. Huge Jim Kelly fan and that just puts icing on the cake that he will be there. Sucks its at 12:30

Day after Halloween...... I'll probably be there late/hungover but I'll be there. The students on the other hand? I doubt it

A legitimate 45000 in attendance....which sadly will still look rather sparse in that freaking stadium. School will announce 65k.

Is this UM employee day?

If it isn't, then 23k max.

You're forgetting about the 2-4-1 FSU/UNC ticket offer. A % of people that bought those will show in addition to the draw of Jim Kelly. If we had lost to VT, rumor has it that Kelly was just going to send his brother in his place.

I'll give you the 2 for 1 deal, but I don't think more than a handful will go just because Jim Kelly will be honored.
