Athlon Sports All ACC Ranking

Cunningham accounted for 39 TDs. Fine with TVD behind Armstrong, Leary, Cunningham preseason based strictly by their numbers. But anyone would agree TVD has as high or higher a ceiling than any QB in power 5.

Being a good QB is one thing, being a good QB and a leader is another. I think that's what will set him apart.

TVD is on the fourth All ACC team. Really? He is not a top-3 ACC quarterback, but is the only ACC quarterback in the Heisman conversation? How can this be? How many quarters are better than TVD in the ACC? Three? Nonsense. I can’t wait for the season to begin.
IMO this is all to do with the Miami bias. We just got to show these fools on the field and recruiting trail that we ain't playing with their azzes no mo!

Actually they have Hartman 1st team. I'd argue that TVD is the 5th best QB in the ACC entering 2022 behind Hartman, Armstrong, Leary, Cunningham.

The 2022 All-ACC Team is led by 14 selections from Pitt, while Clemson (13), Miami (12) and NC State (11) also hit double-digit picks. Wake Forest and North Carolina each has 10 selections on the All-ACC Team for '22, while Syracuse and Florida State check in with nine.

Athlon Sports has released its top 25 for 2022. Now, it’s time to take a look at the best of the best and honor the top players in the league with a release of first, second, third and fourth all-conference teams for 2022.

An important note on the all-conference teams: These are based on how players will perform in 2022. Career statistics and awards matter in the evaluation, but choosing players for the 2022 all-conference team is largely based on predicting and projecting the best for the upcoming year. Also, team strength does not play a role in selections. These are the best individual players at each position in the league for '22.

TVD didn't play a whole season...and he had some growing pains his first couple of games (took him time to acclimate). I'm excited to see what he does this year (for a whole season). Will be rooting hard for him and the rest of our Canes. I wouldn't trade TVD for any of those other QBs. Let's see how a full season of results look and then we'll be able to compare on more of an "apples-to-apples" basis. TVD is mighty good.

Van Dyke 4th CV team QB 😳

I grew up trusting and believing Athlon more than most rags...this poor prediction shakes me to the core

Guess it's time to put away childish things
