I feel like the only questionable one is behind the UVA QB . The other two had better numbers and records

Actually they have Hartman 1st team. I'd argue that TVD is the 5th best QB in the ACC entering 2022 behind Hartman, Armstrong, Leary, Cunningham.

The 2022 All-ACC Team is led by 14 selections from Pitt, while Clemson (13), Miami (12) and NC State (11) also hit double-digit picks. Wake Forest and North Carolina each has 10 selections on the All-ACC Team for '22, while Syracuse and Florida State check in with nine.

Athlon Sports has released its top 25 for 2022. Now, it’s time to take a look at the best of the best and honor the top players in the league with a release of first, second, third and fourth all-conference teams for 2022.

An important note on the all-conference teams: These are based on how players will perform in 2022. Career statistics and awards matter in the evaluation, but choosing players for the 2022 all-conference team is largely based on predicting and projecting the best for the upcoming year. Also, team strength does not play a role in selections. These are the best individual players at each position in the league for '22.

This, just like last seasons end of season All ACC teams just continues to show how much talent we lack.

How much coaching, resources and want to win (as a program) we lacked you mean. Wake, NC state and Pitt all have nothing but 3 star guys, we have had top 15 talent. You know what they do have though…coaching! We have that now and I am expecting better results. Winning teams get all conference players and high draft picks. Once we start winning it will show. We had more talent than anyone in our division, FACT! Stop with the BS about lack of talent!

Van Dyke is the returning leader in QB rating. The other three guys had more yards and more touchdowns. They also attempted way more passes.

Sam Hartman - 508
Brennan Armstrong - 500
Devin Leary - 431
Tyler VanDyke - 324

The ACC is the best conference for quarterback play in the country. Aside from these four, you’ve got Malik Cunningham who’s been consistently really good for Louisville for the last 12 years. Phil Jurkovic looked like an NFL QB for BC two years ago but got hurt last year. Kedon Slovis was looking like a star at USC his first year and he’s at Pitt now.

Well, we beat Pitt and NC State. Didn’t get a chance to beat Wake though.

I so want to agree with you... but "talent" is not always "recruiting rankings".

It's raw ability + motivation + health + development (S&C and Coaching).

Motivation is a quicker fix with our new staff. Coaching takes longer to take hold by breaking bad habits and creating great ones.

Proof of our lack of talent superiority is apparent in the past nfl draft and this ACC ranking.

TVD would be the first guy to say who cares.

As long as the Canes win he could be the last rated QB in the conference.

Just win.

A lot of good QBs in the conference this year so it’s not that outlandish.

All that you said was that I am correct. All the guys we got had physical abilities and they were recruited by most power 5 schools. We didn’t magically put together lists of busts lol. Everything you said after ability other than health, which is luck can be taught and we did a horrible job at it. If we had all those things top notch all the raw abilities that all our guys had would be realized or improved a lot for most, but of course you have your busts. But since we had mediocre everything outside of talent we were mediocre all together lol
