Well plus we have a win taken away that we would have gotten vs Arkansas St.
Honestly I just wanted us to Win the Coastal and Beat FSU. We already beat FSU, And if we beat VTech this saturday, we are just about guaranteed to be Coastal Champs.
Just kinda crazy that we're doing all this, and honestly I think we've played pretty bad for like 75% of our games.

Yeah, he was really looking the part against Bama and was such a factor last year in the overwhelming 20 points they scored. No Rapeis, no **** = FSPoo.

Are we not allowed to re-evaluate our expectations after 7 games? I see a team with really bad offensive scheme this is still undefeated. If that scheme /play calling was corrected we would and a real shot at the CFP.

No. 12-0 was what I expected. And right now i’m Concentrating on 8-0.
From the beginning, like now, I believed Miami had what it took to not lose a game in the regular season. I believed FSU would be tough (even with Francois), but I knew Miami could win.
- The schedule...byes, home, and away set up perfect.
- All Miami has to do is beat the 4 teams that beat Miami last year. Only one of those games wasn’t close.
- Get the moneys worth out of a better coach and staff than what was here previously.
I never expected blowouts, so I’m not grief stricken when it doesn’t happen. I just need the big “W” (Mad, mad...world)
If Iowa State can take down 2 top-5 teams, then Miami can beat any team on the schedule.
If Syracuse can beat a top-5 team, then Miami can beat any team on the schedule.
If the same OSU that lost to OU can beat a top-5 team, then Miami can beat any team on the schedule.
If WSU can beat a top-5 team, then Miami can beat any team on the schedule.
If ASU can beat a top-5 team, then Miami can beat any team on the schedule.
If teams have to be ranked below Miami for Miami to win then the coaches can’t be any good.

Stop with this false narrative. FSU had EVERYTHING to play for when they played us. We beat them and their 10 5*s on defense then they quit on the season. Not the other way around.

I'm choosing to look at it from the positive way: We have played like **** and are still one of 4 P5 teams that are undefeated. That is something to be happy about imo. If we can just put it all together, we can win out man.

I'm onboard with this because I still think we CAN/WILL start to play complete games whereas you have certain media people that have agendas or are just woefully ignorant (see Lebatard) trying to claim we've maxed out.

Honestly if the ONLY thing we improve on as a team is Redzone/3rd down offense, we can easily win out.
I'm hoping for more consistency as well and for our backups to not be such liabilities too.

Due to IRMA we are basically playing an entire season without a bye week. No week off to rest and regroup, so we could be hitting a wall.

point is by most of the boards experts predictions we were poised for a 10 win season at best and a win at FSU would be satisfying enough. Now that we are overachieving by those standards most of the same experts are the ones crying about how much better we can be doing and how we should be doing it, long story short the experts need to STFU and allow the process to take care of itself and stop over analyzing and critiquing every move that happens because perfection doesn't exist. And for the record I predicted us to be in the CFP hunt so I'm definitely desiring a win in the next two weeks.
