At least Bubba had a good game

I've seen bubba highlights and he could punt. Why haven't we tried him at punter? Sorta like a bosher type deal.

THIS is where we are ? "AT LEAST BUBBA HAD A GOOD GAME" .....

Whatever happened to the Miami Hurricanes that made Lou Holtz **** his pants 10 times a day and unable to talk plain the rest of his life ?
Whatever happened to the Miami Hurricanes that laughed at, made fun of and kicked the sh*t out of Big Eight Powerhouses Nebraska and Oklahoma just for fun ?
Whatever happened to the Miami Hurricanes that made Bobby Bowden drool and see missed FGs in his sleep ?
Whatever happened to the Miami Hurricanes that dominated and scared the sh*t out of the entire college football world for years ?

Get me a beer.........

Can’t even kick a forward onside kick. As of now he is part of the problem
I put more of the blame on Richt for that onside kick. Why the **** did we not kick it deep? We had 3 timeouts, and our defense was playing lights out.

Richt should have let him kick instead of going for it with another bone headed call. Completely different game if he makes a FG there instead of a failed 4th down. Kid has a great leg, he just needs chances.

Both Feagles and Bubba played well, outside of the onside kick by Bubba.

It figures that we would have our best ST game when our offense couldn’t do ****.

needs to learn how to onside kick

But our kick coverage team needs to learn how to cover an onside kick. Almost the entire team ran PAST the ball while it was still hanging up in the air instead of staying in front of it. So when the VA player caught it, we were already behind him giving him a free run.

The call wasn't as bad as the execution on that one though. With the 15 yard penalty if they recovered the ball without being allowed to return it the field position wouldn't have been that bad. Given our kick coverage on regular kickoffs isn't that great, the field position difference might have only been 20-25 yards. But our kick coverage team ALL overran the ball on the onside kick instead of keeping it in front of them.

exactly, it would have been helpful if now in two separate on-side kick situations (GT LY) our players actually knew what they were supposed to do.
Versus UVA it looked like they thought it was a race to the endzone, SMDH.

Chinese Fire Drill principles applied to onside kicks.

Again, no offense to certain groups.
