I hope Clemson beats LSU bc I hate how everybody in college football sports media is saying Miami won’t be challenged until Notre Dame to downplay a win on the road at Clemson. I don’t care if they lose to UNC or Cal right after but beating LSU would change the narrative.

Does anyone have any intel on the type of team their fans expect to see this year? Bc they’re getting overlooked (not by our team) like it’s Boston College.

Clemson still has talent, and is a proud program. If anyone here thinks they won't give Miami their best shot you are kidding yourselves.

Dabo is feeling the pressure up here some now.

He has hired 2 new coordinators last 2 seasons with Tom Allen last season and going back to the start of the great Clemson offense run bringing back Chad Morris as OC.

Dabo brought in like 10 portal players, fans were clamoring for portal QB, but he is riding with Chris Vizzina. He started one game vs. SMU last season looked decent.

They have talent still.

Davidson and former Miami Chris Johnson Jr. at RB, both of them can run.

WR duo may only be 2nd in ACC behind Miami in Moore and Wesco.

OL has increased in talent, bigger more athletic bodies with Matt Luke at OL coach, but they are little like Miami inexperienced at OL.

On defense strength of defense will be Heldt and Lawson the DE's and Sammy Brown at LB.

The secondary was horrendous last season they brought in Washington a CB from Penn State, and 2 talented productive G5 safeties.

Hampton is othet CB and top 100 NFL prospect.

How good can Vizzina be will determine if this team goes 10-2 or 7/8 win type team.

They could have 4 top 100 NFL picks in 2027 NFL draft with Heldt, Brown, Hampton, and one of those WR's. Potentially 6-7 total NFL picks so still talented enough to beat Miami at home if Miami doesnt play well.

By FAR Miami's 2nd toughest game of season.

From here it sounds like their season will depend on qb play.. and im not confident in what’s his face tbh.

Ashton Hampton is a top 10 CB in the Nation right now, will likely be a 1st round/early 2nd round pick (barring injury).

Corian Gipson & Donovan Starr are also 2 young Corners they have who are primed to breakout this season.

Mike Reed is the 2nd best CB's Coach in all of College Football & has arguably the best development resume in the business.

Their Secondary will be vastly improved.

Hoping they beat the living daylights out of Lane, LSU and the SEC. I trust our team to take care of business when we face them. They’re good but not even close to Miami’s talent.

Beating Clemson at home will be like Butch's 2000 team (if memory serves) going up to Happy Valley and spoiling Pedo State's debut of their new stadium by cleaning their clock. People are still underrating Miami nationally because they would rather put their trust in Blue Bloods like OSU and the Little Irish People or Nouveau Riche teams like Indiana than Miami.

Soundly handling our business at Death Valley would Serve Notice, not only on the National Media but also upon the Irish that "We Comin'!"

Death valley at night is no joke. If they manage to pull that upset off and we both are undefeated, watch out. Would be prime time, game day, top 5 team vs top 12 team. All of a sudden our schedule won't look so easy.

I would love this.

Clemson gets a lot of noon games. IDK what it is, but I think I read somewhere they try to influence the TV execs and openly lobby for noon games.
