Assuming TVD has a great year

I agree with J. TVD could have a great year but still not feel that he’s NFL ready. In addition to being a first round pick, shouldn’t a QB have total confidence that he has a great chance of being a top NFL player?

Only about half of NFL first round picks at QB are successful. Most of those are top 10 picks. TVD won’t want to become the second coming of Christian Ponder, Tim Couch, Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez, etc etc etc. A year as a starter would give him 30+ starts in college. That’s experience.

1st round pick next year ..maybe top 10 if he does what i think he gonna do

I’m as big a TVD fan as you get but I think he comes back with the chance to be a #1 pick after his Junior season

He’s gonna have some growing pains this year. I’m as big a fan of him as you get but he’s not going to sneak up on anyone this year, new OC, no Rambo etc

Don’t get me wrong I think he will be great but I think peoples expectations are a bit unrealistic right now

Texas A&M game could prove me completely wrong of course haha

Best case scenario is TVD pops off and is a high draft pick. If he comes back for another year that likely means we have a bad season.

Based on what we've seen I expect this upcoming season to be his last.

the key is not just having a great year but being projected in the first round. if he doesn't project as a first rounder he should come back.

assuming there's billions still available it'll be really interesting if we can start matching nfl contracts for the lulz

$100M NIL. I’ve heard rumors that Coach Moe is going to parlay some of his A&M earnings towards an NIL that would keep TVD with the Hurricanes for the duration of his elgibility.

so what you’re saying is it’s been nearly 20 years since we were known as QBU. Don’t get me wrong I can’t wait for the results TVD is going to put out this season, and would be great for him to go 1st round…just feels like been to **** long.

Tyler strikes me as a kid who may seriously consider coming back for 2023 if he thinks the pieces are in place to make a title run. But here we are speculating about the future...lol.
