In all seriousness, Scott Satterfield and Geoff Collins coached for him at FIU, but I doubt either would be considered under "Mario's tree". The over/under on surviving as a Mario assistant coach not named Mirabal is probably about 2.5 years.

You are incredibly far off the mark here. This has been a known issue and discussed by many respected posters on this Board well before this season. Here's just one example from December 2024:

My thought is he just doesn’t have a large coaching tree to select from. Besides the fact he seems to have a rep for being difficult to work for.

Mario is a polarizing character in the CFB world. There’s no middle ground with him, just like CIS.
