I would keep Dugans. If people blame the WR coach because a receiver can’t catch the ball, I think that’s wrong.

He’s also been a great recruiter and our WRs are great blockers.

Dugan's:
Pro's - very strong although not quite elite recruiter (cant blame him for bags though). Elite at coaching WR blocking
Con's - WR's cant catch (yes that is 100% his fault. Look back at what Duper did with Hankerson, a WR coach can coach this). Zero leadership amongst current WR crew and too many kids crying about transferring (Dugans deserves blame here as well for roster mismanagement and not teaching kids any patience/discipline/hardwork,etc.)

I would keep him myself for another year unless the new OC has a killer WR coach to bring in

They we're great blockers last year. This year they sucked. Maybe it was only berrios and ahmon who were actually just great players. I say clean house, only way to show youre serious about washing this stink off.

I just disagree that it’s 100% his fault. At what point does a kid on scholarship as a WR take blame for not being able to catch the **** ball?

It’s on the kid IMO. I can’t imagine Dugans is at practicing NOT having them catch the ball.
