Piggy was the man back at OP back in the day. My godparents live in Orange Park, have my whole life, and I used to be up there **** near every summer. Plus, my big brother was a young cat on the varsity football and basketball teams so I got to meet and hang with all those guys back then.

Piggy was about 5'9", could run a 4.3 in his sleep and jump out of the gym. He used to run point for their hoops team that year, which leads me to how I saw the athletic lowlight of his life. I was up there during winter break and OP was in a holiday tournament. They wound up drawing Daytona Mainland.

Of course Mainland had a guy at time who went on to have a nice little hoops career. Well, that guy stole a lazy pass and had a nice runway. Piggy, being the athlete and competitor he was, gave chase to challenge the shot. The cat from Mainland gives Piggy a Mutombo finger wag and proceeded to throw down a nasty one on him.

That was the only time I'd ever seen Vince Carter play live. **** blew my 11 going on 12 year old mind...

Yes , it give us hope, some kids would us this for bag but many look at the big picture down the road as The Playmaker always tells players and recruits.

Quick money always runs out along with empty promises all fleeting but virtues and character of how you live bares fruit all your life .

It's very effective. Even in today's world of social media and digital communications, it means something and seems more personal. When my daughter was being recruited, one of the coaches sent her emails but also hand-written notes and letters. She didn't commit to that school because she had better offers, but he was the only coach she actually called to let know she was going elsewhere. She emailed the others.
